Botanical Jewelry Workshop

Learn to innovate jewelry design using wire as a base for rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Piece together the tiny and often overlooked bits of texture occurring in seed pods, tendrils, succulents, herbs, and tropical greenhouse favorites. These adornments stun at galas, weddings, and on the catwalk.

Botanical Fascinators Workshop

Join Françoise in designing a unique botanical fascinator. Not only will you learn design skills and a variety of techniques and mechanics, but you'll also take with you the knowledge of how to preserve your original design for several days. Using striking pieces of bark, foliage, textures, and flowers, you will take home a one-of-a-kind piece.

Reach into your imagination with elements of the forest to create your very own Woodland Fairy House! Learn how to construct and design all while using pieces of nature such as bark, branches, mushrooms, moss, lichen, ferns, succulents, and stones. Native Wildflower Seed Bombs with Wrenn Harris

Native Wildflower Seed Bomb Workshop

Want to increase pollinator habitat? Join Wrenn Harris from SymbiOp Garden Shop to talk about native wildflower ecology, the purpose, history, and modern uses of seedballs, and then guide you through every step to create your own wildflower-filled seed balls (aka: seed bombs), to take home. We will also talk about how you could source the materials to make seedbombs at home!

From Garden to Loom

This February 28 & March 1, WildCraft Studio School will be at the Portland Spring Home & Garden Show with an experience that bridges garden and craft: From Garden to Loom.

Join us at the Portland Spring Home & Garden Show for a weaving experience that bridges garden and craft. Weave alongside neighbors on a large-scale community tapestry, or settle in with a mini wooden frame loom to create a piece you’ll take home. We’re weaving with foraged grasses, flowering branches, reeds, seed pods, wool, and cotton, and exploring the full range of color in the natural world with dozens of plant-dyed swatches.

Free with show admission. Materials provided. Come weave with us.
