Shannon Quimby is an internationally acknowledged Salvage Interior Designer, DIY and Color Expert, Photo Stylist, Television Personality, and Author. She’s a national field editor for Better Homes & Gardens and an HGTV alumni. For the past 25 years NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX broadcasts have featured her work. Currently, you can see Shannon’s DIY’s and design ideas on “ Create with Quimby” on CW KOIN News AM Extra.

In the dynamic realm of art, Shireen Gastineau stands out as a symbol of creativity and commitment.

Among her achievements, she was chosen in Bend, Central Oregon for the prestigious cover of Cascades Art & Entertainment with her traditional version of Santa in December ’23. Following that, she was chosen as January’s ‘Artist of the Month’ for Central Oregon’s Dry Canyon Arts Association. Spotlighted on her local news program, she encouraged others to try art as well. Central Oregon Daily has a link to view the post-production.

Gastineau’s work is deeply rooted in her childhood experiences during the 1970s and 80s, marked by a diverse upbringing, which was heavily founded on independence, as well as significant time spent in nature.

About the artist: Danni Martin (they/them) is the owner and founder of Daffodill Studios, a Portland based art studio offering classes, workshops, and memberships. Danni is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in ceramics, and a passion for teaching. Through Daffodill, Danni’s goal as an artist and as a business owner is to make art feel approachable and welcoming to everyone, especially to adults who have never explored pursuing their creative interests.

About the artist: Calli Rampton is a self-taught multi-crafter who will take any chance she gets to teach and inspire other people to try something creative. Long time team member at Cargo, Calli has a loyal following for her craft workshops & handmade wonders. Calli is happiest when someone who thinks they are not artistic is surprised and creates something that they are proud of.

Make your own crepe paper flower bouquet using beautiful hand-dyed crepe paper from Italy. Once you learn the basics and see the amazing colors, you can make flowers that exist in nature or only in your imagination.

Ceramic Vase Decorating with Julz Clementine

"Ceramic Vase Decorating Workshop" | Saturday, Sunday 1 hr.

About the artist: Julz Clementine is a surface designer, illustrator, and teacher living out her dreams in Portland, Oregon. She has a BFA with a concentration in Communication Design from Texas State University. During the expanse of her career as an artist, she has worked as a designer in print & apparel, an art director in advertising & product development, and is currently working as a surface pattern designer & illustrator.

ABOUT THE "CERAMIC VASE DECORATING WORKSHOP":

Gather your friends and family and join us to decorate ceramic vases. Vases will be bisque fired with a smooth off-white surface for you to paint acrylic paints onto and a glazed inside so you can take home from the workshop and add water and spring flowers. Julz will start out the workshop sharing a variety of ideas for your painting inspiration and will have supplies on hand including paint, brushes, pencils, paper, & scissors to help you get inspired to paint your own vase.
